SASAV's Education and Community Building Initiatives
Prevention, Education, and Survivor Activism
Our PESA (Prevention, Education, and Survivor Activism) presentations provide an introduction into the how SASAV was founded and the work we do, as well as the broader history of interpersonal violence and violence prevention at the University of Richmond. Contact us to schedule an event or learn more about the prevention of interpersonal violence and the history of activism and consent education at the UR.
Consent Education and Collaboration
SASAV aims to continue to provide safe spaces, both independently and in collaboration with other organizations to discuss the importance of consent in daily interactions, and how to practice consent while considering, context, relationships, and identity. Movie Socials are a chance to connect and build community in our organization. SASAV members choose various popular movies to enjoy while discussing the social impact of these films through a critical and intersectional lens.
