SPIDERS AGAINST SEXUAL ASSAULT & VIOLENCE
OUR DEFINITION OF CONSENT
We do not view consent as a transaction, but as a practice and critical understanding of boundaries, communication, active listening, and healthy relationship dynamics. This extends beyond the romantic and applies to all interpersonal relationships in one's life.

WHAT WE DO
By hosting organized discussions, we can change the campus narrative to support one another before and after being victimized by the patriarchy.
Talking about these "sensitive topics" can prevent further violence by enlightening others to situational red flags and guide those affected by violence toward necessary support services.
TITLE IX POLICY ADVOCACY
We strive to make the bureaucratic jargon used by our legal system more understandable to students going through difficult times.
